Barry Gets Invaded in Belleville
I would like to take the time to thank Moe for snapping these shots during Barry's operating session on the Thursday of the invasion weekend.
Here's a photo of Grant's Big Boys. If you wish to see pictures from the following days when the group went up to Ottawa, simply locate those sessions in the blog archive for July found to the right of this page.

Barry and his lovely wife moved to Belleville not too long ago and they have already managed to create this gem of a garden railroad.

Judging by the clipboard resting on the benchwork at Quinte West, Barry has designed the layout with train ops in mind.
I like the fact that he has utilized his space well by having some areas of the layout elevated.
With other areas situated at ground level.
Nice looking farm scene here.
Looks like there is some traffic in the yard. I haven't been to Barry's new home as yet, so I cannot comment on the theme of the operations, but from what I heard from the lads who ran trains on the Thursday, they were really impressed with what Barry has accomplished in such a short amount of time.
The mountain with the waterfall certainly adds to the overall look of the scenery surrounding the layout.
You can't have a garden railroad without a bridge!
Nice corner scene.
Station stop.
Close-up view of the waterfall and mountain in the corner of the property.
Another yard filled with freight cars.
Looks like a museum setup to me. Thanks for the pics, Moe...and thanks to Barry for creating this marvelous gem of a garden railroad!
Trusty carrying cases ensure locomotive protection.
The track section where engines can begin their day.
Love this bucolic scene in the garden.
A caboose hop.
A train on the move.
Plug your nose!
The colour of railroading!
A very interesting paint scheme.
In the yard.
More colour.
Elevated track.
Great looking covered hoppers.
On the siding,.
A full yard.
Got my van!
The house as a backdrop.
Good Canadian roads!
One empty, one load.
The true boss of the railroad.
The guy who thinks he's the boss of the railroad!
Barry, yer a handsome lad with a handsome dog and railroad!
Thanks, Moe, for supplying all the pics!
Have a great day in railroading!
