Maintenance Day
Every Wednesday, a group arrives Fred's place to conduct maintenance on the railroad, be it electical, mechanical or simply garden clean-up and weeding.
A group of IPP&W/RP&M operators descended the property this Wednesday morning to conduct some routine maintenance and weeding in preparation for the big invasion coming up in just over a week's time.

Seanna is installing a signal to the west of Craig Leigh.
Her husband Steve worked on the same project. A signal will also be placed to the east of Mount St. Helens which will govern the approach up to Craig Leigh.
I've got the old gardening gloves on. After weeding a large area I posed for this shot from Seanna's interesting perspective. No, I'm not tipsy from the beverage I just consumed.
Malcolm was my weeding mate, although this image of him was taken during our last ops session.
Gordie paid his respects this morning as well with this photo being taken earlier in the spring.
Tom was another weeding mate.
Lawrence and Fred join in on a conversation after spending a bunch of time conducting maintenance chores. The weather reached 36 degrees Celsius (96.8 Fahrenheit) with a humidex of 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit)...a hot one for sure!
Fred, thanks for the extra small sections of track.
They provide a nice setting for my two locomotives.
I'll paint and weather the old brass track at a later date.
Have a super day everyone!
