A handful of lads descended on Fred's property to raise the canopy even though Fred sent out a postponement message.

What follows are some great images and an account from our intrepid OVGRS member, Bernie.

Here is the story in Bernie's words.  "Dear members, obviously some members never got the message and showed up anyways."

"Please be advised that the canopy is up, having just completed it as the rain drops started to fall." 

"The fridge is ready to be filled with beverage, the lamps are up as are the shelves."

 "We even got three bins of needles out to the curb before the garbage truck showed up." 

"Steve McKenzie, Paul Norton, Lawrence Watkins, Bernie Goodman and Fred made up the crew." 

Fred's a happy camper!
