Choo-Choo Trains in Canada

Choo-Choo Trains in Canada

Fred and I were delighted to receive some lovely photos of our most recent session from our dear American visitors from Freeville, New York.

Herman Beals and his family enjoyed their visit to Fred's this past Saturday.

Thank you so much, Herman, for these great memories which you have titled, "Choo-Choo Trains in Canada"!

Herman was impressed with the sign on Fred's fridge!

Here's the man himself.

The ore train keeps on track around the big curve.

Five locations are found in this single image.  That's Cedar Rock in the foreground with Spruce holding the five cars across the aisleway.  Off in the distance to the right we see three cars in Ironwood and further still, two blue GT cars at Wellington Lake.  Finally, in the rear to the left we spot some yellow traffic in Mount St. Helens.

And...here's Malcolm in St. Helens as I type this caption!

Cars are resting in Cedar Rock at the crusher in behind and on the aggregates siding in front.

Doug plays "hide and seek" behind one of the three large trees in St. Helens.

Marcel, Mark and Moe...the 3M company hanging out near the junction.  The RP&M crew holds for the passenger train.

Comber Chairs and Golding Grains in Rat Portage.

The recently installed turntable in Rat Portage.

Ralph Yard and Firgrove.

The sun plays tricks for the cameraman as Doug and Malcolm work Spruce.

The lower section of Peter's Pond which has witnessed a number of new developments this season.

Spruce, Ironwood and Watkins Siding line up to enter school!  Big grin!

Our special statues in Peter's Pond.

Our wonderful visitors hang out with Fred in the crew lounge.

Herman has titled these next two images "Tortuga Crossing".

Lovely!

Thanks, Herman, for bringing the family up for a visit here in Ottawa.
You are more than welcome to make it up this way any time you wish.
All the best, Mike Hamer, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
