Fun Images From Dilip This Week

Dilip's Fun Images From Session #8

With plenty of pictures and videos still in the vault from last Saturday's session, it is more than easy for me to create a decent second section from the experience.  You will see that entry later.  For now, I will share some fun images sent my way from our Train Master, Dilip!

For me, railfanning the action heightens the fun I enjoy while either dispatching, running the trains or working one of the yards.

I thank Dilip for the first five images which kick off this blog entry in humorous fashion!

Dilip titled the e-mail he sent my way "Mike - getting some yoga and stretches in!"

Acting as dispatcher allowed me to traipse all around the railroad to snap plenty of pictures and images!  I simply keep the dispatch board schematic of all trains "in my head" while "out on the lam".

This was Dilip's message to me:  "Mike, I snapped a few photos of you in relaxed yoga and stretching poses while taking pictures for the blog and for your memories.  I appreciate your dedication!

I love these fun images Dilip managed to grab so creatively!  Thank you Dilip for your very kind words!

Indeed, these are poses I practise every day throughout the week in preparation for our Saturday sessions!  😃😉😏

And...what exactly was Mike capturing on his camera while undertaking his yoga regime?

Aha...it's Passenger 1 making its appearance in Peter's Pond!

Some nice rooftop detail to be noticed.

Some video footage of Passenger 1 reaching "The Pond".

Let's check out what Mike was shooting here.

Mike snags a shot from his video capturing Dilip "capturing Mike"!

Cool locomotive on Passenger 1.

Car 18.

Baggage car.

Car 500.

Onward towards "The Pond".

Let's investigate what sort of trouble Mike finds himself in nearby the junction!

Passenger 1 has completed its station stop at Bellamy and has been cleared through the junction and through Mercer Siding on up into Peter's Pond.

This tiny brute handles the train with ease.

Heading onward into the mist.

Or...as Van Morrison wrote..."Into the Mystic"!

Lovely!

Through the junction video footage.

We go back in time mere moments where we find Dilip on departure from Glen Hammond.

He is on approach to Bellamy where he will make one of many station stops aboard Passenger 1.

We are fortunate to have Dilip as a member of our group.  He is one of our two Train Masters who designs the train sessions through the RailOps computer program.  Steve is our other Train Master.  We appreciate the extra time these two lads put in to make our sessions come alive!

Dilip, along with Passenger , as captured by Mike on video.

What was Mike videoing here, we wonder?

Well...let's see...it's a "triple meet" at Mount St. Helens...a rare occurrance!

Just as the Pool Train makes an appearance in "The Mount" Bernie and Mike get underway up to Craig Leigh aboard their third trick of the morning, Train 324.  But, where's the third train?

Aha!  It's down below "The Mount"!

Indeed, Train 322 is also on its third run of the morning heading into "The Pond" before terminating in Glen Hammond.

Video of this "worm hole" of a meet in a parallel universe!

Thanks Dilip for sending along these fun images!
Thanks, Fred for hosting us which enabled Dilip to snap these pics!
Keep a lookout as there are still more blog entries to come this week from this fun session of ours.
All the best, Dilip, Fred, Mike and the entire OVGRS gang of operators
