Alternating Train Operations Between Standard and Narrow Gauge

Train Ops At Fred's Place

Every Saturday morning, the group gathers at Fred's place to run his spectacular garden railroad with an emphasis on train operations.  Most garden railroads are gardens, first, that happen to have a railroad running through them.  Fred's layout is different.  It happens to be a railroad, first, with a garden surrounding it!  One thing is for certain...when you are in Fred's backyard, you are in train heaven!

Train operations alternate between Standard Gauge and Narrow Gauge each weekend.  One Saturday we run diesels and the next we run steam.  The image above is from a Standard Gauge session.

While this image (of one of my locomotives) was taken on a Saturday morning when we ran Narrow Gauge.  Thanks for taking the time to check out this page!
Take care everyone, Mike Hamer - Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
