Noelle's Pics From Belleville Visit

Noelle's Pictures From Our Belleville Visit

We offer a great big note of thanks to Noelle for her great images taken during Barry's recent operating session up in Belleville.

A number of our OVGRS members from Ottawa made the journey for the train operations with Barry.

Barry tells us that a group of folks from Kingston also made the trip upstream.

We spot Tom, Eric and Bernie hanging out around the yard in Belleville with the morning sun shining brightly.  The umbrellas make a huge difference in cooling down the operators.
(You can enlarge the images by clicking on them.  Click outside them to return to the default look of the page.)

Grant, Pat, Pat and Kurt share some stories before the train ops commence.

Paul and Chris crew a train in Cumberland while Eric works Shaanenville on the other side of the aisleway.

Johnny and Fred are all smiles...even it they are a tad blurry!

Bonnie and Diane set out some treats for the gang on the intermediary deck.

Moe takes a break in the action.

Bernie enjoys a seat as he holds on to his train orders.

Eric and Tom have reached Cumberland later in the their run.

We always enjoy the view around the waterfalls.

Bonnie, Barry, Tom, Eric and Diane enjoy lunch together before more train action commences.

I'll order up a tomato, lettuce and cheese sandwich!

Many lads confer in the recessed pit at the back of Barry's property.  We see Tom up top with Barry in red.  Eric and Chris are behind Pat who is nearby our other Pat.

Paul, Barry and Chris are spotted near Trista Centre.

Aha!  We spot the great looking Purina facility as built and painted by Chris.  Looks fantastic Chris!

Kurt, Moe, Fred and Barry enjoy the shade offered up by the dual canopies.

Kurt is all smiles as running trains brings such facial expressions on!

Pat, Chris and Barry on the (geographical) western front of the property.

Eric heads over to check on the trains around West Ben and Belleville while Tom and Bernie enjoy a chat.

Pat and Kurt hold court as Moe is sitting down to the lower right of the image.

Moe and Roger check their orders at Kamaron City.

Pat follows his train's progress out from Cumberland bound for Orleans as another gentleman observes the movement of the train as well.

Roger examines the trackage in Ottawa as Paul carries his locomotive home and Bernie looks on.

It was been a most enjoyable day!

Pat spies his train as it drills the spur beneath the deck.

Johnny enjoys the shade offered from the lower deck umbrella.

Chris, Fred, Kurt and Pat hang out around the crew table.

Loads of folks abound around Barry's and Bonnie's beautiful gardens.

Moe, Eric, Tom and Roger follow the progress of a few trains at Shaanenville.

The lower area of the property actually contains the elevated trackwork.

Noelle has managed to capture this creative shot of the staging tracks located below Barry's deck.

Bernie and Paul are found in the big yard at Ottawa.

Another glance at the tunnel section beneath the water feature.

The handsome lad in blue is Grant from Kingston.  He is a member of ARK - the Associated Railroaders of Kingston.

Yum, Yum!!!

Johnny pleads with Paul and Chris..."Can I come in and play?"

Lots of activity around Kamaron City.  Grant's shoes match his shirt nicely.  (I wear blue shoes often to our sessions here in Ottawa!)

An aerial view from the porch find the lads amassing around Trista Centre.

A darker shot!

More aerial views.

Pat's NYCentral endcab crosses the creek as it heads towards Hayes' Fuels.

Barry and Paul share some ideas.

Noelle and Johnny managed to capture this "larger scale" train as they departed for home.

Nice action shot, Noelle!

That's one "Long Train Running"!!!
Thanks so much, Noelle, for these wonderful images from a great day.
Thanks to Barry and Bonnie for hosting the gang once again!
All the best,
Mike Hamer, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
