Pat's Pics From Session #3

Pat's Pics From Session #3

Pat was gracious enough to snap a number of images from our third session of the season.

While he was able to capture the movement of his train, 314, we will see a few other trains in the images.

Train 314 was the second trick for our two Pats, Brennan and Brewer.

After holding in the hole at Watkins, their train has been cleared onto Peter's Pond.

Mike captured their train on his ancient camera.

Mere moments before we watched the meet of  Train 311 with 314.

311 scoots around 314 at Watkins.

Over in Ironwood Chris and Doug handle 312 with acumen.

314 meets the passenger train down in Peter's Pond.

They conduct their moves including a set out at the new cooperage.

The crew backs up the branch track.

The awaiting cooperage...

...receives a car on its spur.

Then the crew returns the cars to Norton Fishery...

...before heading back to the main.

They will have a setout to the team track.

Then it's onward to Mercer Siding with yet another meet with another train, this time the ore train.

Bob hauls the ore train out of the siding bound for the Pond.

A view from a different time in the morning of the ore train taking the pedestrian crossing while a crew works above at the western throat of Nelson Yard.

Thanks Pat for sharing these images with us from a great day of train running!

All the best, Mike Hamer, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
