Mark sent these images from his iPhone of his new locomotive.
Here he has captured me snapping a shot of the new little puppy!
We have a number of young friends along on the ride.
They assist Mark in setting out the equipment and ensuring the wheels are on the rails before the train sets out from the Northland Ore Dock.
This little one is in control of the radio.
The ore train has been cleared down to Mount St. Helens.
The Ontario Northland F-unit arrives the Mount.
The young lad has joined me in Ironwood as Paul looks on.
The ore train assisted the local freight crew with the lift of a blue tank car off the Ironwood Brick siding.
Then it's off to Spruce.
Then out from Spruce.
Blowing the pedestrian crossing.
Through the big trestle.
With Nelson Yard booked solid, we cleared the ore train into Glen Hammond...
...where it was able to work the Fallentree Mine outside of Nelson Yard.
The colour of the unit complements the colour in the lilies.
Andrew looks on from a distance and Seanna is to the right.
Neil admires this new unit on the railroad.
The young lad acts as brakeman.
Thanks, Mark, for bringing out this new beauty. We hope to see more of this ON F-unit in the future! Happy Thanksgiving Monday everyone!
All the best, Mike Hamer, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
