Grant's Colorado Railroad Museum Pics

Grant's Colorado Railroad Museum Pics and Stories

Recently Grant and Bill attended the National Narrow Gauge Convention in Denver, Colorado.

The lads enjoyed a multitude of clinics and a handful of layout tours during their visit.

They even made their way to the Colorado Railroad Museum where these pictures were taken.

The entrance to the museum houses a gift shop, theatre and a detailed HO scale railroad in the basement.

2-8-0 #74 saw use on a number of local railroads including the Colorado & Southern and the Rio Grande Southern.

There are also a number of standard gauge pieces of rolling stock.

Another view.

Thanks, Grant, for these incredible photos and your captions which offer an account of your visit to the museum.

In our next instalment, Grant will share with you images from a "Steam Up" and we will provide links to the corresponding videos.

I'm really looking forward to that entry as well!

All the best, Grant, Bill and the OVGRS crew
