Session 14 of the Season Part Two

 
With so many pictures taken, I am able to offer a Part Two posting this week.
Thanks to Malcolm for the first seven pics in this posting and to Bernie for some other images.
 
 
Session 14 was narrow gauge.
 
 
With steam locomotives being the actors on the stage.
 
 
Working the yards.
 
 
Toiling on the high iron.
 
 
Doug got to bring out his K27 for passenger service.
 
 
Chris waited for Doug's arrival before departing Ralph Yard with Train 238.
 

Garry was yard master in Nelson Yard.
 
 
Seeing as we just showed Chris up in Firgrove, let's backtrack and catch he and Bernie earlier on aboard Train 311 at Cedar Rock.
 
 
They are on their westbound journey travelling through Peter's Pond.
 
 
Where the Cedar Rock branch departs from the main line.
 
 
They bring their train in on Track 4 at Bell.
 
 
Chris gazes in the distance to ensure the alignment of the turnout.
 
 
We now fast forward.  They have terminated Train 311 in Firgrove and are now departing on the third leg of their journey aboard 328.
 
 
Bernie has 328 downgrade to Bell.
 
 
Where he meets RP&M Train 70 at the interchange.
 
 
Henk and Pat have 312 in Spruce while Malcolm and Brian railfan the activities.

With setout completed and pickups now on the train, all that remains for Pat to do is settle back on the caboose before departing for Ironwood.
 
 
They have begun their work in Ironwood.
 
 
Looks like some trailing and facing sidings will be worked.

Oops!  That little clip lies hidden at track level.
 
 
Mount St. Helens is all trailing for the crew.

Much later, aboard Train 319 Henk works the facing sidings at Spruce.

This will be the last stop for this crew before arriving Glenn Hammond and heading to the crew lounge for a bite of lunch.
 
 
In Part Two we revisit Doug and his gorgeous K27.  Doug has arrived Craig Leigh with Passenger #2.  The Craig Leigh yardmaster has removed the consist from the locomotive to allow Doug to turn his engine on the wye.
 
 
Paul Anderson, the yard master backs Passenger #2 around the bend where he will terminate the train at the passenger station in Craig Leigh.
 
 
Doug is now westbound between Mount St. Helens and Ironwood with Pool Train #15.

Paul and Lela had arrived Nelson Yard aboard Train 304.  They continue eastward aboard 314.  Paul is at the helm and he has his train crawling out of the yard with Lela looking on in the distance.
 
 
In Spruce, Lela orchestrates the car movements.

Spruce has a couple of trailing industries for the crew and a facing spur.
 
 
There's always lots of work in Ironwood.
