Clarke Canyon
This is a short post to assist in the discussion regarding Clarke Canyon where the thought of a potential passing siding was to be created.
I have included a few images and a single video of a westbound train piercing the siding and rolling across the pedestrian crossing on up past Blockhouse.
Hope this helps the discussion.
Here is Clarke Canyon named after "Ore Train Bob"...Mr. Bob Clarke...one of our regular operators.
Note how it pierces the narrow passage beneath the bridge connecting Spruce with Ironwood up top.
A closer view.
Here we find Moe following his westbound consist aboard Train 301 having departed Spruce with a mission to reach Nelson Yard.
Reaching the newly refurbished pedestrian crossing, the train will pass Blockhouse in mere moments.
Some video action of the train through the canyon.
Thanks for checking in on this rather short blog entry!
All the best, Mike, Doug and the entire OVGRS crew
