Pat's Pics and Videos From This Past Saturday

Pat's Pic and Videos From This Past Saturday

Pat was kind enough to e-mail his pictures and videos he shot from this past Saturday's train running adventures.  Thanks so much for taking the time to do this, Pat!

Pat is found driving his train over the wide gap and bridge, both named in his honour, "The Brennan Gap" and "The Patrick Brennan Bridge".  This was a very rewarding experience for this humble train operator!

His train will bypass Nelson Yard and pull into Glenn Hammond at any moment.

Aha!  During the journey his crew enjoyed the sights and sounds found along the RP&M railroad!

Having tackled the grade successfully, the crew arrives the interchange between the two railroads outside of Bell.

With no work in Peter's Pond, Pat sails on through.

Reaching the junction, the train will take the cut-off into Nelson Yard from the west.

Looks like a meet has taken place here.

Then it's downgrade one more time through the "Fred Mills Trestle" and on toward Blockhouse and Spruce.

On arrival in Craig Leigh, the train will terminate in Douglas Yard.

At the end of the session, the lads pack away the freight cars and their locomotives as they look forward to the next time the trains will run along the rails of the IPP&W and RP&M.

Before we leave you, Pat has these five videos to share with you.

  1. Great stuff, Folks!! I've really been missing out not keeping up with the railroad antics here! Fred gave me a real ticking off for being so remiss. :(
