Ironwood Completed - Almost

Following our Workday Wednesday session, Bernie returned to Fred's on Thursday and Friday to complete the work at Ironwood.

Doug also came back later in the day on the Wednesday afternoon to plane the boards where their joint was placed at the beginning of the downgrade slope.

Bernie sent along all of these pictures of the work.  He tells us to note the two cars placed at Windmill siding.

While this looks like a simple job, it is anything but.

Many hours of solid labour went into the new track arrangement and Bernie put a number of hours into the planning of the new siding.

The job is completed with one step to go...Fred has to put the turnout throws in.

Man, she looks oh so good, lads and lasses!

We can't wait to christen the new track arrangement tomorrow morning!
