Moe's Rainsville City Large Scale Outdoor Layout
Much thanks to Moe for sending along some great pictures showcasing the wonderful work he has done in creating his outdoor large scale layout. Frank's Industries looks to be a rather busy location along the line. I like the transfer caboose!
I love short trains as much as I do long ones! Here is a description of the images in Moe's own words. "The operating sessions are mainly a result of having to do with the Covid-19 crisis. These images showcase an actual operations. The layout contains a series of industries that are served by a local train. The attached images depict the setouts and pickups in the city of Rainsville."
Looks like it's a facing move at Cliff's Manufacturing.
Moe has run around the hopper car in order to assemble it to his consist and he is on his way.
Destination; Rick's Sand and Gravel.
A car exchange is necessary here at Rick's Sand and Gravel.
(Moe called it Frank's in the image.)
The gardens around the James Refinery complex are beautiful.
Daisy Grain is dealt with next.
Hmmm...this Mike loves fish. I'm coming over for dinner, Moe! Big grin!
The use of the runaround track is always a necessity when switching out industries facing your locomotive. Looks like you've got a great "operational" layout there Moe!
H-e-r-e-'s Moe!
Thanks for sending these images along for our OVGRS blog, Moe!
