Pat's Train Experience in Early June

An Early June Train Ride With Pat

Skipper Pat headed over to Father Fred's place in early June where he found time to run a train and have a great visit!

Pat's carrying case.

The puppy emerges.

In slow motion.

Pat has brought along his own cars to run along IPP&W rails.

A lovely outside braced 40 footer.

A swift reefer.

Love the logo on this refrigerator car!

Good old Pennsy!

Another cool ensignia on this covered hopper!

"Fast - Dependable Less than Carload Service" offered up by the B&O.

Another nice looking hopper.

Finally a caboose to round things out.
Pat tells us that most cars came from Doug Hayes although the grey one came from Ralph Dipple's estate.

Pat also has some videos to share from his time at Fred's.
It was his first time running his Annie with all of the cars he brought from home.

The first video will showcase Pat's Annie.

She's backed onto her train by hooking onto the car that used to belong to the late Ralph Dipple.

The remainder of the cars belonged to Doug Hayes.

Video - Showcasing the Annie coupling on to the train.

Pat is aboard the locomotive having bypassed Douglas Yard.

Through Northland.

Onward Ho! It's downhill to Mount St. Helens from here!

Out from Mount St. Helens...

...and into Ironwood!

Into and out from Spruce.
The locomotive peeks out from the forest!

Arrives the main at Spruce.

Downgrade.

Reaching the low point of the line.

The caboose pulls up the rear!

Thanks, Pat, for sending all the pics and videos along!
