Further Images From Two Saturdays Ago

Still Some More Images From Two Saturdays Ago

We are still finishing up with pics from two weeks ago.

Paul's Rio Grande Southern passenger train is spotted in the woods in "The Corners".

Earlier the train came down from Bell and through Wellington Lake.

We snag the tail end.

Video footage of the passage of the train.

The locomotive makes its appearance after tunneling underground near St. Helens.

Entering the canyon.

The canyon walls reverberate to the sound of the drivers.

And...we check this segment out!

Meanwhile, up in Bell, another passenger train is spotted.

Marcel barrels through town in order to keep up with the schedule.

Through Watkins Siding.

Nice action!

Paul arrives Peter's Pond.

A short passenger stop.

Nice video!

Paul is through Mercer and crosses the junction.

He's got his eyes on Glenn Hammond...

...but first he must navigate the big curve to the west.

Into Glenn Hammond.

Love the motion.

Marcel runs through Mercer...

...and arrives the junction...

...on a slow order restriction...

...due to excess leaves on the track.

Looking good, Marcel.

Paul is out from Glenn Hammond...

...where he finds his way...

...onto the Fred Mills Trestle.

A nice "going away" shot of the train heading for the big bend at Lilly.

A great perspective...

...for photos...

...from beneath the big span.

Lovely!

The sun continues to shine...

...as Paul glides across Brennan Gap...

...with a long train in tow.

We check out that scene as well.
Thanks for checking in on yet another fun posting of the action trackside!
All the best, Mike Hamer, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
