Workday Wednesday July 29

Final Workday Wednesday For July

Each Workday Wednesday...

...is a time for work...

...and...

...a time for fun!

Doug deserves to run his latest acquisition...

...seeing as he did a lot of the grunt work...

...along with a few others...

...in resurrecting the area around Spruce...

...which was the railroad's...

...latest redevelopment project.

Speaking of Spruce, Doug is on approach to this town from the east.

He takes the siding...

...where this eager railfan spots his locomotive.

Doug, the masked bandit!

Father Fred is a happy camper...

...as is Lawrence...

...and Skipper Bill.

Bernie has arrived...

...with "Big Blue!"

Doug gets a chuckle out of that!

Bernie gets down to work...

...while Steve arrives to check out the pond life.

What little grass there is in and around Craig Leigh (Bernie's stomping ground) gets a grooming treatment.

And...Steve does check out the pond!

Meanwhile...

...Doug finds himself out from Spruce...

...downgrade...

...and through Blockhouse.

George wears his mask...

...as does Father Fred.

Earlier, Doug was spotted alongside the stone wall...

...and through the crossing.

One of my favourite locations to railfan...

...is the rockery just east of Blockhouse.

Lawrence and I found a good location to store the spare lumber left over from the Spruce project.

Doug cants into the curve...

...and settles on the bridge into Nelson Yard and Glen Hammond.

Bernie likes playing with his weed wacker string...

...while George and Lawrence survey the work done at Spruce.

Two handsome lads with great big smiles (I presume!).

We leave you...

With these lovely views of the rust garden.
Have a fine day all, Mike Hamer, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
